Andrea slowly awoke with a startled attitude. She noticed she was in a large crib. "W-what the hell" said Andrea. "Ah i see you woke up already"  came a new females voice.  Andrea looked around quickly for the source and soon saw a woman standing over her. She stood about 5ft 7 with blue eyes and blue hair. She looked about only 17 years old but most obvious of all was her orangish cat tail and cat ears. Also she was wearing a typical anime like schoolgirl outfit. "W-who are you" asked Andrea nervously as she struggled to sit up right. "I am Neka Your carer" replied the young girl. "Hmmph i am not so damn little kid and i don't need to be taken care of" huffed Andrea before noticing she was wearing a wet nappy. "Not little huh? Why don't be silly. Of course you are little" said the woman. Sure enough Andrea now notice she was somehow reduced to a mere infant. "Bu-but how" she asked on the verge of hysterics. "Well you see my little bundle of joy , you are part of this really cool program they call The Exchange. Its this program that this race has cooked up in order to try to save their dying race. I didn't use to be 1 of them but i am now. I was 1 of the earlier Exchange students though not unlike you they did some extra experiments" explained Neka. Andrea tried to keep up. "uh wait so then how can you understand me" asked Andrea full of curiosity. "Well you see its like this, our DNA has been linked so to speak but beyond that you have certain unique qualities but i have said enough already. And besides the head of Exchange Comitee will be here soon to check on your progress. It seem your last 2 carers couldn't handle you" Neka explained as she picked Andrea up and took her into a living room similiar to Arlie's place. She quickly changed Andrea's nappy and set her on the couch as a man entered the front door. "ahem i have arrived miss Neka" said the man as he sat his briefcase down near Andrea. "Ah mister chairman sir nice to see you again" said Neka as she ushered him into the kitchen to chat. Andrea could just barely hear their conversation. "So how has the subject been doing? She seems  to be aware already" said  the man. "Y-yes she just became aware before you arrived sir" answered Neka nervously. "Hmm i see well then we need to put you 2 through training pronto and also the rest of us have decided you shall be her perminent carer" said the man. Andrea had managed to crawl over to briefcase and somehow got it open. Inside she found several files which she could miraculously read. While Neka and the man talked she skimmed through various files learning of what was done to her she pause to look inside her diaper. "Holy F%^% i am 100% a girl now" she said to herself then went back to reading. She learned of a girl named Sandra who had just become Aware the day before and here carer Anya. She also Learned of a boy whose name had been whited out for some reason but then she found another name for him. "Guess his name must be Lycian Now" said  Andrea. His carers name was Arlie and more surprising still was that Sandra lived next door on 1 side while Lycian lived on the other but still all 3 were indeed neighbors ( to cloneditto and toddlergirl i figured this could explain how and why the carers know each other aside from being carers ) Andrea welled up with some hope. "I must meet them. Perhaps making friends on this ship could prove helpful" said Andrea determined to meet them. She even read of a girl name Alice and of her case. "Well at keast i have something in common with someone to an extent" she said but quickly tried to put stuff away as the 2 adults returned to the room. She was barely in time as the man spotted her. "Aww does widdle Andrea want to pway with my briefcase? I wish you could but i am afraid there are things in there that are not meant to be seen shrimp" he said patting Andrea on the head. Andrea flared up with some slight rage. How dare he mock her being partially responsible for her new size. The man soon said his goodbyes and left. "Thank god" groaned Neka. " I can't believe their damn law makers allow those comitee members to freely enter a carers home! What is this a damn free for all' huffed the carer. " Anyway little one we have 2 days to get ta know each other better then you have some training of sorts to do" said the carer as she picked up a curious Andrea.
